Create a beneficiary and delegate the card order to him/her

By default, you create and credit your beneficiaries' accounts. They then order their cards directly from their Swile account. This article explains how to do this 👩‍💻

However, it is possible that you have chosen to be responsible for ordering cards when setting up your company. In this case, please refer to our article: How do I create an account, order cards and top up my beneficiaries' accounts with meal vouchers ?

👉 Create your beneficiaries

  • To begin with, you will need to create your beneficiary as follows:
  • Log in to your administrator account > Meal Vouchers menu
    Select New order
  • You can then choose to proceed manually via the platform, or by import via a csv file.

👀 Platform

  • Click on the Add a beneficiary button
  • Fill in the information requested about your beneficiary
  • Email address and personnel number: make sure that the new employee's email address and/or personnel number do not match those already belonging to the account of one of your employees
  • Number of meal vouchers: you can indicate how many meal vouchers to top up on your beneficiaries' accounts, but this is not compulsory for your first order.
  • Once the beneficiary has been entered :
  • Click on Continue at the bottom right
  • Choose the date on which you would like your meal vouchers to be credited to your beneficiaries' accounts.
  • Choose the day on which your beneficiaries will receive the communication indicating that Swile has been set up. This email will include an activation link so that they can activate their account and card when they receive it.
  • Choose your payment method (the first order must be made by bank transfer) and check your delivery and billing address.
  • Accept the terms and conditions and confirm!

👀 Csv file

  • Click on ‘Import via file’
  • If you wish to add an additional card to your beneficiaries, tick the option ‘Delivery of cards to at least two different delivery points or to your beneficiaries’ homes’.
  • Follow the steps requested. We invite you to consult our dedicated article: How to place an order with an Excel file?

💡 By default, your beneficiary will be able to order a card and no physical card will be added to your order.

👉 Guide your users

Once your beneficiaries' accounts have been created, they will be able to order their card. We recommend forwarding the following help pages to your beneficiaries:

  • How do I order and use my Swile card?
  • How do I pay with my phone? Features Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Wallet

💚 Environmental impact

This option allows us to reduce our environmental impact by only producing the physical cards that your beneficiaries really want and choose, rather than making them systematic (less manufacturing and transport).
