Information available the day before departure, after 5pm
🧐 If you have any doubts about whether a train will be maintained during a strike, you can check which trains are running on SNCF.com, the day before departure, from 5pm.
Unfortunately, it's impossible to know before then whether a train will be maintained or cancelled.
SNCF will also send you an email and/or SMS by the day before departure at the latest (depending on the information you have entered in your Swile Travel profile) to inform you of the train's cancellation.
✅ If you have not received an email or SMS after 5pm on the day before departure, this means that your train is not affected by the disruption.

The cancelled train ticket is systematically exchangeable and 100% refundable, regardless of the original sales conditions. If you do not wish to continue the journey, you can simply cancel the booking on your Swile Travel profile to obtain a refund.
If the cancellation involves a fee, you can still confirm it and then contact us, specifying your booking reference, so that we can file a claim with the SNCF for a refund.
If you want to maintain your trip, you have two options:
- Make a new reservation, then cancel the current one on your Swile Travel profile
- Make a chargeable exchange.
In both cases, please contact us so that we can file a claim with the SNCF for reimbursement. These claims take a very long time to process (around 3 to 6 months) and we will reimburse your company as soon as the SNCF has refunded us.
A TER ticket is valid for the whole day. You can therefore board any other TER for the same destination on the same day with the same ticket.
If there are no other TER trains available, or if the timetable does not coincide with your journey, you must cancel the ticket the day before departure. After this date, the ticket cannot be refunded by the SNCF or Swile Travel.
