The login tool cannot identify me, what should I do?

Having trouble logging in to your Swile account? It’s likely that something in your browser made us think you were a robot.

👩‍💻 If that’s the case, you’ll see the following message: We’re having trouble logging you in. Our login tool can’t identify you.

👉Why you might be blocked: things to check in your browser

  • You’re using a VPN or a data centre IP address (try logging in with a different device or browser from the one where you saw the error message),
  • You’ve made several login attempts in quick succession,
  • Your browser might not be up to date,
  • You’ve disabled cookies in your browser (see below for how to re-enable cookies in Google Chrome and Safari),
  • A third-party browser extension (such as Ghostery or NoScript) is blocking JavaScript from running.

We recommend changing one of the settings above.

If you’ve disabled cookies, here’s what to do:

Google Chrome
  1. Open Google Chrome and click on the drop-down menu.
  2. Click on "Settings".
  3. Click on "Privacy and security"
  4. Click on "Third-party cookies".
  5. Under Cookies, select "Allow third-party cookies"
Safari
  1. Open Safari and click on the drop-down menu in the top right corner.
  2. Click on Preferences.
  3. Go to the Advanced tab and select Never under Block cookies to allow all cookies to be enabled.
  4. Close the window and refresh your browser.
  5. That’s it. Safari can now access cookies.
