Holiday Benefits are valid for 2 years from the date they are issued.
📌 Example: If you credited your beneficiaries on 01/04/2025, they will expire on 01/04/2027
đź’Ś How are your employees notified about the expiry of their Holiday Benefits?
The expiry date is shown on your beneficiaries’ Swile account (under the Accounts menu).
We also send out a reminder as the expiry date approaches to let your beneficiaries know.
đź’¸ What happens to any unused balance?
Any unused balance at the end of the validity period will not be refunded (unless otherwise agreed) to your Swile pot.
🫣 Can you check your employees’ remaining balance to remind them?
This isn’t possible. For privacy reasons, we do not share the remaining balance on each of your employees’ accounts. We recommend letting your staff know as soon as possible, or a few months before their vouchers expire, by sharing our help page: Where and how can you spend Holiday Benefits?
