Your employees’ Holiday Benefits are valid for 2 years from the date they are issued.
📌 Example: if you credited your beneficiaries on 01/04/2026, the Holiday Benefits can be used up to and including 01/04/2028.
📤 Activating Holiday Benefits
Once a Holiday Benefits order has been confirmed, your beneficiaries will receive an email inviting them to activate their allocation on the date of your choice. This date marks the start of the validity period for the Holiday Benefits.
Your beneficiaries have one year to activate and use this allocation.
đź“© How are my beneficiaries notified about Holiday Benefits to activate?
When placing your order, you choose the date on which your beneficiaries will receive an email inviting them to activate their Holiday Benefits.
A reminder email is automatically sent to beneficiaries who haven’t activated their allocation 3 and 10 days after the first invitation, then on the 1st of each month until the benefits expire.
đź“© How are my beneficiaries notified about the expiry of their Holiday Benefits?
The expiry date is shown on your beneficiaries’ Swile account. In addition, a notification is sent to all your beneficiaries as the expiry date of their Holiday Benefits approaches, to remind them.
đź’¸ What happens to unactivated balances?
Any Holiday Benefits balance not activated by beneficiaries by the deadline will be returned to your company’s Swile pot.
🫣 Can I check the remaining balance on my beneficiaries’ accounts?
For privacy reasons, it’s not possible to view the remaining balance on your employees’ accounts.
