How to Obtain My CNTR Approval? – Supermarkets and Convenience Stores 🛒

If you run a supermarket or convenience store, follow this two-step guide to putting together your CNTR application!

📚 Step 1: Put your application together with 3 documents
  • The status notice or the definitive registration certificate in the SIRENE Directory for your business, showing your APE code (⚠️ APE codes 7010Z or 000Z are not accepted).
⇾ Lost your document? 👀 You can download it directly from the INSEE website!

  • An original extract from the Trade Register (K, Kbis or Lbis) for your business, issued within the last month.
⇾ Can't find this document? 👀 You can request it from the Commercial Court Registry your business is registered with, or order it from www.infogreffe.fr.
⚠ Any KBIS extract that does not mention the business activity and the establishment concerned by the application will be rejected
  • A signed declaration, depending on your situation:
    • Store with a member brand (FCD, GALEC, ITM): Print and complete this declaration.

    • Store with a non-member brand or no brand:

      • Print and complete this declaration.

      • A detailed written list of the food products you sell ⇾ The list of products eligible for meal vouchers is available here.

    • Frozen food retail store: Print and complete this declaration.

💌 Step 2: Send your application to the right place

Your application is ready—just send it by recorded delivery with proof of receipt to:

La Commission Nationale des Titres-Restaurant
32, rue Brison
42335 ROANNE Cedex

📆 What happens next?
  • ⏳ For 12 months, a provisional approval: If you meet the regulatory requirements for meal vouchers and your application is complete, the CNTR will issue you a provisional ministerial approval valid for 12 months.

  • ✅ After one year, your final approval: At the end of this period, and within one month, you’ll need to reapply to the CNTR, who will check your application and, if you still meet the requirements, issue your final approval.
