How to order Swile reward cards (BRAVO cards)?

This article is for Swile administrators. As an administrator, you can order Swile reward cards, known as BRAVO cards, to reward your employees, loaded with the amount of your choice. The Swile BRAVO card is a physical incentive card with a dedicated design, which you can hand out to your recipients in person or send by post.

⚠️ The BRAVO card is not a gift card

Unlike Swile gift vouchers or culture vouchers, the Swile BRAVO card is linked to anonymous electronic money. It is not exempt from social security contributions or tax and does not fall under the URSSAF scheme that applies to gift vouchers.

What is the difference between the BRAVO card and Swile gift cards?

Swile offers two types of physical cards depending on your needs: gift cards and the BRAVO card (incentive card). The table below summarises their differences.

What are the suitable use cases for the Swile BRAVO card?

The Swile BRAVO reward card is designed to reward and motivate your employees, for example:

  • Performance bonus: reward an individual result or achievement.
  • Recognition: thank an employee for their commitment.
  • Targets achieved: acknowledge when your teams reach set goals.
How do I order Swile BRAVO cards?

To order your Swile BRAVO reward cards, go to swile.co/carte-a-offrir/commande, then follow the steps below.

  1. Step 1: Select the Reward, motivate, retain option.

  2. Step 2: Choose the amount to load onto your BRAVO cards (from €10 to €150) and the number of cards to order. If you wish, you can personalise your cards with a logo and a message (2 lines of up to 30 characters each). Then click Add to basket.

  3. Step 3: If you have a promo code, enter it in your basket summary.
  4. Step 4: Click Place order and fill in the required information (delivery address, billing address, SIRET).

  5. Step 5: Choose your payment method (currently available by bank transfer, and soon by credit card). Accept the T&Cs, then click Confirm order.

Once payment is complete, you can track the status of your Swile BRAVO card order directly from your admin area.

What should I do once I receive the Swile BRAVO cards?

A sign-off sheet is included with your order to help you distribute the BRAVO cards to your recipients. Make sure this is filled in when handing out the cards.

💡 Orders via La Poste branches

For BRAVO cards ordered via La Poste branches, activation can be done from your admin area or directly by the recipient, using the link or activation code provided.

🧐 How do I use and declare Swile BRAVO cards?

How do recipients use their Swile BRAVO card?

The Swile BRAVO card works like a prepaid bank card, and can be used in one or more transactions at all partner retailers — all departments accepted, including groceries.

  • In store: swipe the magnetic strip on the back of the BRAVO card through the payment terminal.
  • Online: enter the 16 digits of the BRAVO card, its expiry date and the security code (3 digits on the back, under the scratch-off area).

The balance and list of partner retailers for the Swile BRAVO card can be accessed by scanning the QR code on the back of the card, or via the following channels:

  • By phone (IVR): 01 77 86 21 21 (number shown on the back of the card).
  • Online: via Cadostore, by registering the card to your account.

What regulations apply to the Swile BRAVO card?

The Swile BRAVO card is an anonymous electronic money product, subject to specific regulations in France and the European Union, aimed at limiting the risks of money laundering and terrorist financing. The rules governing its use are as follows:

  • Maximum value limit: €150 per BRAVO card, with a maximum of €150 per employee over a 30-day period.
  • Top-up: not possible.
  • Cash withdrawal: not allowed.
  • Validity period: 1 year from activation.

For tax and social security purposes, BRAVO card allocations are included in the recipient's taxable income. They do not benefit from the social security exemptions provided for URSSAF benefits in kind.

What happens to unused funds on the Swile BRAVO card?

When the Swile BRAVO card expires:

  • Refund or inactivity fees apply after the expiry date.
  • Unused amounts are not returned to the company.
