This article is for Swile beneficiaries. If your Works Council (CSE) has subscribed to a Gifts / CSE offer, you can declare your dependants (partner and children) and/or provide other information and supporting documents requested by your CSE, directly from the Personal Profile menu in your Swile account.
👨💻 How do I provide details of my dependants and the information requested by my CSE?
Why is my CSE asking me to provide this information?
If your CSE has subscribed to a Gifts / CSE offer, they may ask you to provide, via your Swile Personal Profile:
- Your dependants (partner and children)
- Other information or supporting documents (for example: workplace, family quotient, taxable income) grouped together in what your CSE calls a collection
This allows your CSE to tailor the benefits they provide to you according to your situation.
The information requested depends on your CSE’s own rules and may therefore vary from one CSE to another.
How do I declare a dependant on my Swile account?
To declare your partner or children as dependants on your Swile account, follow these steps.
- Step 1: Go to your Personal Profile in your Swile account. On the web, click your first name at the top right, then select Personal Profile. In the app, go to Menu > Profile and Security > Personal Profile.
- Step 2: Add your partner and children, then provide the information and supporting documents requested by your CSE.
- Step 3: Submit your request. The information you enter will be checked and approved by your CSE administrator, and you’ll be kept informed of its progress.
Once you’ve submitted your request, you can find it at any time in the Personal Profile menu of your Swile account.
How do I respond to a request for information or supporting documents from my CSE?
When your CSE starts a collection, you’ll be notified by email and/or via a notification in the Swile app. You can respond in the same place as for your dependants, in the Personal Profile menu of your Swile account.
- Step 1: Go to your Personal Profile in your Swile account. On the web, click your first name at the top right, then select Personal Profile. In the app, go to Menu > Profile and Security > Personal Profile.
- Step 2: Enter the information requested by your CSE and, if needed, attach the relevant supporting document (for example: proof of address).
- Step 3: Submit your response before the deadline shown. After this date, you’ll no longer be able to provide the requested information.
✍️ How do I track, edit or delete my requests on my Swile account?
How do I track the status of my requests on my Swile account?
Whether you’ve declared a dependant or provided other information or supporting documents requested by your CSE, approval depends on your CSE’s acceptance. You can track the status directly from your Swile Personal Profile:
- When your request is approved by your CSE, its status changes to Approved. You can then enjoy the relevant benefits, according to your CSE’s rules.
- If your request is rejected, you’ll be notified of the reason and the status will change to Rejected. You can then choose to edit or delete your request.
Approval is solely the responsibility of your CSE. If you have any questions or your request is rejected, please contact your CSE: Swile cannot intervene in this decision.
How do I edit or delete information I’ve provided on my Swile account?
From your Swile Personal Profile, you can manage your dependants as well as other information and supporting documents requested by your CSE:
- You can edit your request as long as its status is Pending approval or Rejected.
- You can delete a dependant regardless of their status. In this case, you’ll no longer receive benefits relating to them, according to your CSE’s rules.
⚠️ If your CSE closes a collection
An administrator from your CSE may close a collection. In this case, you’ll no longer be able to enter or edit the requested information. If you didn’t provide anything during the collection period set by the administrator, the information will no longer appear in your Swile Personal Profile.
Who should I contact if I have questions about the data I provide?
Your CSE is responsible for the data you provide on your Swile account, whether it’s about your dependants or other information and supporting documents requested. Swile acts only as a technical service provider on behalf of your CSE. For any questions about access to your data, how long it’s kept or how it’s used, please contact your CSE or their Data Protection Officer (DPO).
