How do I add a dependant to my Swile account?

On your Swile account, you can add your dependants, whether that's your partner or your children. To do this, your Works Council (CSE) must have subscribed to a gifts / CSE offer.

🙌  Adding dependants allows your CSE to allocate benefits or grants to you based on your family situation (in line with the rules set by your CSE).

đŸ‘©â€đŸ’» Add a dependant
  • Click on your Profile (in the app or on your browser) then on Dependants

  • Click on Add a dependant.

You'll need to provide several details to submit your request:

  • Type of dependant: child or partner
  • Dependant's surname
  • Dependant's first name
  • Date of birth (children only)

You must provide supporting documents to submit your request. Here are the documents usually required (these may vary depending on your CSE's rules):

  • For a child:
    • Family record book
    • Birth certificate
    • Adoption certificate
  • For a partner:
    • Marriage certificate
    • Family record book

📌 Once you've submitted your request, you'll find it in your list of dependants. Your request will need to be approved by your CSE.

🧐 Tracking your request (approval or rejection)

Your request will need to be approved by your CSE. If you have any questions or your request is rejected, please contact your CSE directly as Swile cannot intervene.

  • Once your dependant has been approved by your representatives, their status will change to “Approved”. You’ll then be able to enjoy the benefits offered by your CSE (subject to your CSE’s rules) for dependants.
  • If your request is rejected, you’ll be notified of the reason and the status will change to “Rejected”. At that point, you can choose to delete or edit your request.
✍ Edit or delete a dependant
  • You can edit your request as long as its status is “Pending approval” or “Rejected”.
  • You can delete a dependant (regardless of status) but you will no longer receive any benefits for them (subject to your CSE’s rules).
