As a Swile affiliate, your contract is “all-in-one”: it automatically covers acceptance of Swile cards and Bimpli products (cards and paper vouchers), following the merger between Swile and Bimpli (formerly Apetiz) in January 2024.
Once you’re affiliated, two independent activations are required: one for Swile cards only (via your TPE credentials in your Swile affiliate area), and another for Bimpli cards (formerly Apetiz) only (via a Conecs setup on your TPE depending on the card generation). These two activations are completely separate: setting up one does not activate the other.
⚠️ Prerequisite — be a Swile affiliate
Activating acceptance of Swile and Bimpli cards (formerly Apetiz) on your TPE is only possible once your Swile affiliation is complete. If you’re not yet affiliated, follow the procedure described in our dedicated article: How to accept Swile card payments or add a new establishment.
How do I activate Swile card payments on my TPE?
To accept Swile card payments on your TPE, you need to enter your TPE credentials in your Swile affiliate area. This step is only for Swile card payments: it has no impact on accepting Bimpli cards (formerly Apetiz), which are set up separately (see next section).
- Step 1 — Log in: Log in to your Swile affiliate area.
- Step 2 — TPE credentials: Go to the section dedicated to your TPE credentials.
- Step 3 — Enter details: Enter your TPE credentials and save.
For the full details on the Swile TPE credentials procedure, see our dedicated article: How to find and add your TPE credentials.
How do I activate Bimpli card acceptance on my TPE?
To accept Bimpli card payments (formerly Apetiz) on your TPE, the setup depends on the generation of Bimpli card in question. Important: accepting Bimpli cards requires no action in your Swile affiliate area — Swile TPE credentials are only for Swile card payments, not Bimpli.
Bimpli cards (formerly Apetiz) work on a hybrid network using two separate channels: the Conecs channel (2nd generation Bimpli cards) and the standard banking channel (1st generation Bimpli cards).
1st generation Bimpli cards (standard banking channel)
No TPE setup is needed for 1st generation Bimpli cards. Transactions with 1st generation Bimpli cards are automatically sent to your CB batch, just like a regular bank card.
2nd generation Bimpli cards (Conecs channel)
To accept 2nd generation Bimpli cards on your TPE, you need to configure your terminal to accept payments via the Conecs network. This setup is done directly with your TPE provider, not in your Swile affiliate area.
- Step 1 — Preparation: Have your bank domiciliation card ready.
- Step 2 — Contact your provider: Contact your TPE provider to set up payments via the Conecs network on your terminal.
- Step 3 — Create your Bimpli online account: Create your Bimpli online account to enable reimbursement for your Conecs transactions.
My Bimpli online account: what is it for?
Your Bimpli online account is separate from your Swile affiliate area. It is required if you accept 2nd generation Bimpli cards (Conecs channel), to allow reimbursement of your transactions. For 1st generation Bimpli cards (standard banking channel), it’s still recommended for tracking your activity.
Your Bimpli online account allows you to:
- Be reimbursed for your Bimpli Conecs transactions (2nd generation cards)
- Track all your Bimpli transactions
- Access your Bimpli invoices
