How do I change my phone number as an administrator?

As an administrator, you can update your phone number yourself from your Swile account, either on your computer or on the mobile app.

📱 The Swile app, even if you're not a beneficiary

Your admin area isn't available on the mobile app — it's only accessible from a computer. However, the mobile app gives you access to your personal profile, even if you're not a Swile beneficiary. You'll use this profile to confirm your number change.

⚠️ Prerequisite: Swile app installed on your phone

To update your phone number yourself, you must have the Swile app installed on your phone. It's essential for confirming the change, even if you start the process on your computer.

How do I update my phone number? 📞

🖥️ From a computer
  1. Click on your name at the bottom left
  2. Click on Profile and security
  3. Update your phone number in the relevant box. If the box is greyed out, it means you haven't registered a trusted device. Please register a device first. See: How do I register a trusted device?
  4. Click on Save changes
  5. Open your Swile mobile app to confirm the change
  6. Enter your password in the app
  7. Go back to your computer and enter the security code you received by SMS
📱 From the app
  1. Tap the Menu tab at the bottom right
  2. Tap Personal information
  3. Update your phone number in the relevant box. If the box is greyed out, it means you haven't registered a trusted device. Please register a device first. See: How do I register a trusted device?
  4. Tap Save changes
  5. Enter your password
  6. Enter the security code you received by SMS

Your phone number is now up to date 🎉
