📌 Step 1: Link your Swile account to Uber Eats
First of all, you need to link your Swile account to the Uber Eats app. Make sure you've done this correctly by checking our article: How do I pay with Swile on Uber Eats? 🌮
If you're still having issues after doing this, click on the problem you're experiencing to see what to do next:
When searching on Uber Eats, make sure you filter for places that accept Swile. Click on meal vouchers in the filters, then select Swile accepted. If the restaurant hasn't set up Swile on Uber Eats, you won't be able to pay with your card.
You can pay up to €25 in meal vouchers at restaurants that accept Swile from Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays. Delivery fees aren't considered food items and therefore can't be paid for with your Swile account. Make sure you've added an extra bank card or PayPal account to your Uber Eats account to complete your order.
Check that your meal voucher balance is enough to pay for your order. You can do this directly from your Swile account.
It's also possible that some of your items aren't eligible, as your meal voucher card can only be used to buy food products. Alcohol isn't included. So you can't pay for an order that contains alcohol 🥂.
If Apple Wallet is set as the default payment method on your Uber Eats mobile app, you won't be able to use your meal vouchers.
Turn off this setting and add your bank card so you can pay for your order.
You've linked your Swile account and selected your balance at checkout. But delivery and service fees can't be paid with meal vouchers. You'll need to add a personal bank card (not your Swile card) to cover these costs.
If you've followed all the steps above but still can't place your order, feel free to contact us.
