As part of your home-to-work travel benefits, your company may have activated the reimbursement of transport subscriptions. In this case, you can pay for your Navigo transport subscription with your own payment method and get reimbursed through your Swile account.
💸 How does the reimbursement of your Navigo subscription work?
Pay for your Navigo subscription with your own payment method, such as your bank card, and keep your receipt.
On your Swile account, click on your Home-to-work travel account
Click on Get reimbursed and select Transport subscription (📌 if you don't have this option, it means your company doesn't cover transport subscription reimbursements via Swile).
Provide a description for the purchase and the total amount spent
Choose the bank account where you want to receive your reimbursement
Attach your purchase receipt and confirm.
Once your reimbursement request has been approved, the amount will be credited to your bank account.
The reimbursement takes into account the period indicated on your receipt. However, your bills will be reimbursed from your start date with the company, and it won't be possible to reimburse expenses incurred before this date.
You need to renew the reimbursement request at the end of each validity period of your receipt. 💡 For an annual transport subscription, submit your receipt just once. We will automate the reimbursements for the following months.
💰 What is the reimbursed amount based on your Navigo subscription?
If your request concerns the daily reimbursement of your subscription, you will be reimbursed the amount due according to your employer's coverage (at least 50%).
If your request concerns the weekly reimbursement of your subscription, you will be reimbursed the amount due according to your employer's coverage (at least 50%).
If your request concerns the monthly reimbursement of a Navigo subscription on a one-off basis, you will be reimbursed the amount due according to your employer's coverage (at least 50%).
You have subscribed to an annual Navigo pass with RATP / IDF Mobilités for an amount of €998.80 per year in 2026, benefiting from one month free. You are thus charged €90.80 over 11 months.
At Swile, we base our reimbursement on the total amount of €998.80, which we reimburse over 12 months.
👀 And why not over 11 months like IDF Mobilités does?
Simply because the free month varies for each employee and we are unable to identify it.
To avoid penalising you by choosing a month arbitrarily, we have chosen to spread the reimbursements over a full year.
🙌 In summary
You will be reimbursed the amount covered by your company over a calendar year, i.e., €41.62 over 12 months (based on 50% coverage by your employer).
The end result is the same for you.
For more information on this, you can visit the RATP website.
🤓 In summary
Pay for your subscription with your own payment method then submit a refund request from your Swile account.
The refund amount corresponds to the portion funded by your company (usually 50%), with a specific note on the annual package (see above 👆)
It is not possible to get a refund for expenses incurred before your start date with the company.
For an annual subscription, submit your proof just once. No need to resend it every month 💃
