As part of your commuting benefits, your company may have enabled reimbursement for transport subscriptions. In this case, you can pay for your transport subscription using your own payment method and get reimbursed through your Swile account.
- Pay for your subscription using your own payment method, such as your bank card.
- In your Swile account, click on your Commuting account
- Click on Get reimbursed and select Transport subscription (📌 if you don't see this option, it means your company doesn't offer transport subscription reimbursement via Swile).
- Enter a description for the purchase and the total amount spent
- Choose the bank account where you want to receive your reimbursement
- Attach your invoice and confirm.
Once your reimbursement request has been approved, the amount will be credited to your bank account.
The reimbursement amount matches the portion covered by your company (usually 50%).
The reimbursement is based on the period shown on your proof of purchase. However, your invoices will only be reimbursed from your start date at the company; you can't be reimbursed for expenses incurred before this date.
You need to submit a new reimbursement request at the end of each validity period shown on your proof. If you have an annual transport subscription, just submit your proof once. We'll automate the reimbursements for the following months.
🤓 In summary
- Pay for your subscription with your own payment method and then submit a reimbursement request from your Swile account.
- The reimbursement amount matches the portion covered by your company (usually 50%).
- You can't be reimbursed for expenses incurred before your start date at the company.
- If you have an annual subscription, just submit your proof once. No need to send it every month 💃
