How can I make a donation with my gift vouchers?

This article is for users with Swile gift cards. You can donate to a charity using your Swile gift cards in two ways: directly with your Swile card on the charity’s website, or via our partner Dift.

How do I donate directly with my Swile gift card?

With your Swile gift cards, you can donate directly to one of these three charities:

• Médecins du Monde
• WWF
• Unicef

Go to the website of your chosen charity, select payment by bank card, and enter your Swile gift card details. There’s no payment limit: you can donate any amount you like, up to the available balance on your Swile gift card account.

For this type of donation using your Swile gift card, tax receipts are sent by the charities themselves. Swile can’t provide a receipt: you’ll need to contact the charity directly. Here are the contact pages for each one: Médecins du Monde; WWF; Unicef.

How do I donate via our partner Dift with my gift cards?

You can also donate with your Swile gift cards through our partner Dift, who will convert your Swile gift card balance into a donation to the charity of your choice. Here’s how it works, from choosing the charity to confirming your donation.

1. Step 1: Go to the Dift page dedicated to Swile gift cards (dift.com/give/swile-gift) and choose the charity you want to support.

2. Step 2: Open the Swile app and select the gift card account you want to use for your donation (it must have a positive balance).

   

3. Step 3: Tap Spend.

   

4. Step 4: Search for Dift, our partner.

   

5. Step 5: Order a Dift voucher for the amount you want to donate.

   

6. Step 6: Collect your voucher (e-ticket), which will be sent to your email address and will also be available in your Swile account purchase history.

7. Step 7: Go back to Dift, click on your chosen charity, then enter your email and the e-ticket code you received.

   

What are the conditions for donating via Dift?

• Valid in mainland France and in the overseas departments and regions (DROM).
• Can only be used once per charity.
• The donation amount can’t be split between several charities.
• Non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
