I received my Swile Card: how do I activate my account and my card ?

First step : Activation

The first step is to activate your Swile account. We explain how to do this in this article 🚀

💌 Activation by email

If your employer has registered an e-mail address on your account, an e-mail has been sent to you from hello@info.swile.co ✍️ Click on the link provided in the e-mail.

  • Check that your first and last name are correct.
  • Enter a secure password unique to Swile
  • Fill in your phone number and enter the code received by SMS

If you haven't received your activation e-mail, check your spam folder. If you can't find it, follow these steps 👇

  • Go to the following page: https://join.swile.co/welcome/email
  • Enter the email address your employer used to create your account (this may be a personal or business address, so ask your administrator if you're unsure).
  • Click on Resend. Once you've entered the correct address, you'll receive the activation email and can follow the procedure described above. If you do not receive the email, please contact our customer service department.

 

📬 Activation by post

If your employer has not registered an email address on your account, you will receive a letter at the postal address provided by your employer with your activation login and password.

  • Go to join.swile.co/welcome/mail
  • Enter your login and activation password
  • Check that your first and last name are correct
  • Enter a secure password unique to Swile
  • Fill in your phone number and enter the code received by SMS

💳 Activation by card

You also have the option of activating your account using your Swile card (if an identifier is indicated on the back of your card). In this case, simply flash the QR code displayed on the packaging of your card and let yourself be guided to activate your account.

💳 Ordering and using your Swile card

There are two ways to order your card:

  • Either your account administrator has ordered it for you. You can check whether an order is in progress on your Swile account in the My cards menu.
  • Or you can order your card directly from your Swile account. See our help page: How do I order and use my Swile card?

📱 How do you use my virtual card?

If you want to use your card virtually, you'll need to add it to Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet to be able to pay with your phone.

💳 How do you use your physical card once received?

  • To pay physically: make your first payment by inserting your PIN code. If you forget your PIN code, you can retrieve it from your application.
  • To pay by phone: You'll need to add your card to Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet if you haven't already done so!
  • To pay online: Choose to pay by credit card and enter your card numbers, expiry date and CVC (3-digit code). These numbers are visible on your application (My cards tab) and are the same as those on your physical card, if you have one. Make sure you activate online payments beforehand in the My Cards menu.
