How to Add a Personal Bank Card or Bank Account to Your Swile Account

You can add your bank card and your bank account to your Swile account.

👩‍💻 How do you add your personal bank card or bank account?

  • On the mobile app, tap Menu at the bottom right (on a computer, click on your initials or your first name at the top right)
  • Click on Bank cards and IBAN
  • Click on Add a bank card or Add a bank account
  • Enter the requested information:

    • Label: This is the name that will appear on your Swile account. For example, if you enter "Lola's bank account", you'll see this name in your saved bank accounts on Swile.
    • Account holder's name: This is the exact name of the bank account holder (the one shown on your bank details).
    • IBAN & BIC.

    💡 To help avoid mistakes, an automatic message will let you know if the account holder's name on the IBAN you enter in Swile is different from the one registered with your bank. This error message is just for your information – you can still continue if you're sure the details are correct.
