💡 There are two possibilities when it comes to ordering your card:
- Either your account administrator has ordered it for you. You can check if an order is in progress on your Swile account in the Cards menu.
- Or you have the option to order your card yourself from your Swile account.
This article explains how to order your card if you’re in case 2 mentioned above. Follow the steps below according to your situation 👇
If your administrator has allowed you to order your own card, here’s what to do:
- On a web browser (computer): Once logged in to your Swile account, click on Cards then click the + button at the top left. Just follow the instructions from there 🎉
-
On the Swile app: Tap the icon showing two cards
at the bottom of your app. If you have 4 tabs, tap Menu, then Cards. Next, tap the + at the top right of your screen.
📌 You can choose to use a virtual card only (for use with your phone), or to order a physical card as well.
Go to the Cards tab. You’ll see your virtual card there.
Click on Order my physical card
- Set your PIN code
Enter your postal address
Confirm 🚀
Your card will arrive within 5 to 7 working days at the address you provided 💌
📱 How do you use your virtual card?
If you want to use your card virtually, you’ll need to add it to Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet so you can pay with your phone. You can also pay online by choosing to pay by card and entering your virtual card details.
💸 How do you use your physical card once you’ve received it?
To pay in person: Make your first payment by inserting your card and entering your PIN. If you forget it, you can find your PIN code in your app.
To pay with your phone: Add your card to Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet if you haven’t already!
To pay online: Choose to pay by card and enter your card number, expiry date and CVC (the 3-digit code). If you have a virtual card, these details are visible in your app (under Cards). If you have a physical card, they’re printed on the back of your card. Make sure you’ve enabled online payments first in the Cards menu.
