You can use your card directly at retailers who sell cultural products and services. For example:
- Tickets for shows, theatre and music events
- Cinema tickets
- Tickets for museums, exhibitions, historical monuments, and conferences
- Books (excluding school textbooks) and comics, e-books, and online press
- Music or video formats: audio CDs, DVDs, videos, multimedia CDs
⛔️ If a retailer also sells other types of products (like Carrefour, for example...), you can't pay directly with your Swile card because we can't guarantee your purchase will be for cultural items.
If you want to spend at a general retailer, the solution is to buy a gift card from our shop. You can then use this in the store (in person and/or online, depending on the gift card's terms and conditions).
🎁 How can you spend your gift vouchers?
Go to your Swile account. For more information, see: How do I buy a gift card?
You can spend your gift vouchers:
- Directly in store by using your Swile card as a payment method. If your purchase is more than the amount available on your Swile account, you'll need to pay in two transactions (one with your Swile card and the rest with another payment method). You can find all eligible retailers from your Swile account, on your gift voucher page (section Where can I spend with my Swile card, See brands).
- Online. Choose to pay by card and enter your Swile card details. The total amount must be less than or equal to the amount available in gift vouchers on your Swile account.
