How to invite a recipient to the Gifts and Benefits product?

This FAQ explains when and how to create a colleague so they can enjoy the Gifts and Perks benefits.

Do I need to create colleagues before launching a Gifts and Perks campaign?

You don’t need to create a colleague before allocating gift vouchers or Holiday Perks. Simply add the recipients directly in the order process, either manually or by importing them.

How do I create a colleague in Gifts and Perks for My Works Council and the Deals Shop?

Creating a colleague is still useful for:

• giving access to My Works Council and the Deals Shop (if your company has subscribed to these perks)
• reusing an existing list of colleagues when running a gift voucher or Holiday Perks campaign.

The Premium Deals Shop offers discounted deals: gift cards, savings on leisure activities and cinemas, as well as tickets for shows and events. Purchases in the Deals Shop can be paid for by bank card. If your works council has set up a Shop Subsidy, this can also be applied to eligible items.

1. Step 1: To add a colleague to My Works Council and the Deals Shop (or to add a colleague in advance to your list), click on the Colleagues menu in the sidebar, then click Add a colleague.

   

2. Step 2: Select Create your colleagues in the How would you like to add your colleagues? section. You can create one or more colleagues by entering or importing their personal details and additional product settings.

   

3. Step 3: Choose one of the following options:

   • Add manually to fill in the details in the form;
   • Import a .csv or .xlsx file to add several colleagues from a file.

   

4. Step 4: Confirm the addition.

How does the invited colleague activate their Premium Deals and My Works Council perks?

The invited person receives an email with a Activate my perk button.

• If the invited person already has a Swile account, they log in and then confirm the activation.
• If the invited person doesn’t have a Swile account yet, they create one using the email address the invitation was sent to.

Once activation is complete, the Deals Shop and/or My Works Council will be accessible from the invited person’s Swile account, depending on which perks have been activated for the company.
