What happens when gift vouchers expire ?

Your employees' vouchers are valid for one year from the date of issue. They will expire on the last day of the 12th month following the refill date.

📌 Example : If you credited your beneficiaries on 01/12/2023, the expiration will take place on 31/12/2024.

💌 How are your employees notified when their gift vouchers expire ?

The expiry date is displayed on your beneficiaries' Swile account (Wallets menu).

We also send a communication as the expiration date approaches to warn your beneficiaries.

💸 What happens to the unspent balance ?

Any unspent balance at the end of the term will not be returned (unless otherwise agreed) to your fund reserve.

🫣 Is it possible to check the remaining balance on your employees' accounts to notify them ?

This will not be possible. For confidentiality reasons, we do not communicate the balance remaining on the account of each of your employees. Therefore, we recommend that you notify your employees at the beginning or a few months before their vouchers expire, by sending them our help page : How do I use my Swile gift vouchers ?
