To access your Mobility platform and place your first order, you’ll first need to complete a “KYB” check. Here, we’ll explain what these procedures involve and what they’re for.
📌 What does KYB mean?
The term “KYB”, which stands for Know Your Business, refers to the process by which Swile identifies and verifies the identity of its clients in order to offer them regulated products (in this case, the Mobility offer).
💡 Only companies registered in France are eligible for Swile’s Mobility offer.
“KYB” is a regulatory requirement for Swile, aimed at identifying and verifying clients’ identities in order to combat money laundering, terrorist financing, tax offences, and identity theft.
Identity verification is an important step for Swile to maintain a trusted environment and ensure we provide you with a product that meets all applicable regulatory requirements.
👉 In short, it’s about knowing our clients so we can apply the right controls.
👉 The KYB process also protects you, making sure you are the one making the request and helping to prevent unpleasant surprises such as someone impersonating your company.
To identify and verify your organisation, we’ll need the following details (it won’t take long, we promise!):
