You can exchange a train ticket directly from your Swile Travel account, as long as the ticket conditions state that it can be changed đ In this article, weâll explain how to do this from your Swile account, and what to do if the new fare is lower, the same, or higher than the original amount đ
Go to the relevant booking in your Swile account.
Click on Exchange.
Select the journeys you want to exchange: outbound, return, or both.
Choose your new dates.
After choosing your new journeys, youâll need to confirm your changes.
Enter the reason for your trip and click on Pay for booking to confirm your changes.
If the total price is âŹ0, this means your new trip is cheaper or the same price as your original trip. The amount to be refunded to your company will be shown in green.
If the new trip costs more than the original, the price difference will be displayed and will need to be paid.
đ© Downloading your new tickets
Youâll receive your new tickets by email, or you can download them by clicking on âView my ticketâ then âDownload the E-ticketâ
đ In case of emergency (only), if you donât have access to the Swile app
If you canât change your ticket on Swile, you can also do it directly with SNCF:
- By phone, on 36 35 (standard rate).
- At a white or yellow SNCF ticket machine, at the station.
- At a ticket counter, in an SNCF shop or at the station. If a staff member refuses on the grounds that itâs a âtravel agency ticketâ, insist. Your agency, Swile Travel, is an official reseller, and SNCF is required to make the change if your ticket is exchangeable.
đĄ If you change your ticket outside Swile Travel and youâre due a refund, contact our customer service so we can update your file and process your refund.
