We recommend that you pay your fines directly to the local authorities: if the rental company handles the fine, they will add an administration fee.
📆 Can a fine arrive after your rental has ended?
It’s possible for a fine to reach the rental company several months after you’ve returned the vehicle. The company is entitled to charge the credit card you provided as a guarantee, and will also add an administration fee. So, if a fine arrives after your rental, please pay it according to the rental company’s instructions—we can’t get involved or reimburse you.
