Information available the day before departure, after 5pm
🧐 If you're unsure whether a train will be running during a strike, you can check which trains are operating on SNCF.com from 5pm the day before your departure.
Before this time, unfortunately, it's not possible to know whether a train will be running or cancelled.
SNCF will also send you an email and/or SMS by the day before your departure at the latest (depending on the contact details you've entered in your Swile Travel profile) to let you know if your train has been cancelled.
✅ If you haven't received an email or SMS after 5pm the day before your departure, it means your train is not affected by the disruptions.

If your train is cancelled, your ticket automatically becomes 100% exchangeable and refundable, regardless of the original terms and conditions. If you no longer wish to travel, you can simply cancel your booking in your Swile Travel profile to get a refund.
If the cancellation incurs any fees, you can still go ahead and confirm it, then contact us with your booking reference so we can submit a claim to SNCF for a refund of the fees.
If you still want to travel, you have two options:
- Make a new booking, then cancel your current one in your Swile Travel profile
- Make a paid exchange.
In both cases, please contact us so we can submit a claim to SNCF for a refund of the fees. Please note that these claims can take a long time to process (around 3 to 6 months), and we will reimburse your company as soon as SNCF has refunded us.
A TER ticket is valid all day. You can therefore board any other TER to the same destination on the same day with the same ticket.
If there are no other TER services available or the times don't fit your travel plans, you must cancel your ticket the day before departure. After this, the ticket cannot be refunded by SNCF or Swile Travel.
