You can update your phone number directly from your Swile account, either on your computer or using the mobile app.
⚠️ Prerequisite: a registered trusted device
To change your phone number, you must first have registered your phone as a trusted device. To find out more: How do I register a trusted device?
How do I change my phone number? 📞
🖥️ On a computer
- Click on your initials or first name at the top right
- Click on Profile and security
- Update your phone number in the relevant box. If the box is greyed out, it means you haven’t registered a trusted device yet. Please register a device first. See: How do I register a trusted device?
- Click Save changes
- Go to your Swile mobile app to confirm the change
- Return to your computer and enter the security code you received by SMS
📱 On the app
- Tap the Menu tab at the bottom right
- Tap Profile and security
- Tap Personal information
- Update your phone number in the relevant box. If the box is greyed out, it means you haven’t registered a trusted device yet. Please register a device first. See: How do I register a trusted device?
- Tap Save changes
- Enter the security code you received by SMS
Your phone number is now up to date 🎉
