Where and How Can I Spend My Holiday Benefits with My Swile Card?

Your Holiday Benefits can be used to pay for the following during your holidays:

• Accommodation: hotels, campsites, caravan parks, holiday villages, motels, resorts, holiday cottages, guest houses, unique stays, seasonal rentals through estate agencies, etc.
• Transport: flights, train or coach tickets. For public transport, payment must be made at ticket machines, ticket offices or station counters. You cannot use Holiday Benefits to pay directly at metro gates or on buses.
• One-off sports or leisure activities: skiing, surfing, climbing, skydiving, etc. & sports equipment hire
• Artistic or cultural activities: museums, guided tours, visits to historical monuments, etc.
• Concerts and shows
• Holiday camps and day camps (provided payment is made directly to the organisation and you submit proof of registration to your Works Council)
• Toll charges (only at ticket machines)

Note: If your company carries out a check, you must be able to prove that these expenses were made as part of your holidays.

❌ Which expenses are not eligible?

Your Holiday Benefits cannot be used to pay for:

• Food and drink
• Purchases from general culture retailers (Fnac, Amazon Culture, etc.)
• Purchases from general sports retailers (Decathlon, Intersport, etc.)
• Sports events or long-term sports subscriptions (sports clubs, year-round extracurricular activities)
• Top-ups or subscriptions for your toll badge

💻 How do I pay online?

Select payment by bank card and enter your Swile card details.

• ✅ You can top up the payment with other eligible Swile accounts (such as gift or culture vouchers). If you have them, the amount will be automatically deducted — everything is paid in one go.
• 🚫 You cannot top up the payment with the CB relay: the purchase amount must be less than or equal to your Holiday Benefits balance.

🏪 How do I pay in person?

Simply tell the merchant you want to pay by card. There's no need to mention it's your Swile card, or ask if they accept Swile Holiday Benefits: it's a standard card payment, using our Visa and Mastercard networks.

• ✅ You can top up the payment with other eligible Swile accounts (such as gift or culture vouchers). If you have them, the amount will be automatically deducted — everything is paid in one go.
• 🚫 You cannot top up the payment with the CB relay: however, you can ask the merchant to split the payment (part on your Swile card, the rest with your own payment method).
