Yes, you can register a landline number. In this case, the security code will be given to you via an automated voice message.
However, switchboard numbers are not accepted: For security and technical reasons, it is not possible to register a switchboard number.

We recommend using your mobile phone number. You usually have it to hand, which makes verification quicker and easier. It's especially convenient if you also have a beneficiary account, as you'll use the same number for that too.
