Deliveroo: Invoicing for Orders Paid with a Swile Card

Have you received a Deliveroo invoice and noticed that some orders were paid for with a Swile card? Don’t worry, we handle the payment for these orders. Here’s everything you need to know 🚀

👉 Orders and adjustments

Deliveroo shows the number of orders received and paid for with a Swile card, along with the total amount. Each order is then detailed in the Orders and adjustments section:

  • Delivery: in this example, there’s a Swile order for €13.10 with a 28% commission applied by Deliveroo, which is €3.67 excluding VAT (€4.40 including VAT). This commission will be deducted from the total amount paid by Deliveroo.

  • Meal voucher order amount: this is the amount of the order paid for with a Swile card, which we will pay you, and is therefore deducted from the amount Deliveroo owes you.

In the branch summary, Deliveroo provides an overview of all orders received:

👉 Debit Table

In the Debit Table: additional fees, you’ll find information related to Swile orders.

  • Swile order amount (after Deliveroo commission): the total amount of all orders received and paid for with a Swile card, after deducting the Deliveroo commission.

  • Deliveroo commission on Swile orders: the total amount of Deliveroo commission applied to all orders received and paid for with a Swile card.

Depending on the frequency you’ve chosen (daily, weekly, or monthly), Deliveroo pays you the total amount of orders paid by regular card, minus the commission on all orders (including Swile orders), and minus the amount of Swile orders (after Deliveroo commission).

👩‍💻 On your Swile invoice

In the Online payment summary section, we list all orders received during the invoice period and the total amount. In this example, 37 Deliveroo orders were paid for with a Swile card, totalling €683.03.

This is the amount on which we apply our management fees:

Your Swile invoice will also show the details of orders received via Deliveroo.

In the Transactions section, you can select the payment terminal linked to Deliveroo and view only transactions from this delivery platform.
You can also download the list of transactions by clicking the Export as CSV button at the top right of your screen. Once the file is downloaded, filter the source and select Deliveroo.

👉 Key points to remember

  • Deliveroo pays you the amount for orders received and paid by regular card, minus the Deliveroo commission and minus the amount for Swile orders.

  • Swile pays you the amount for online orders within 2 to 3 working days after your invoice is issued in your affiliate area.

👀 The amounts on your Swile invoice don’t match what you receive?

That’s normal, as Swile deducts its commission before making the bank transfer. The invoice therefore shows the total order amount minus the fees.

If your commission fees are higher than the amount of online orders, Swile will deduct its commission and collect the remaining balance due.
