In Swile Travel, travellers can access two types of rates for hotel and car hire bookings: Swile exclusive rates and company-negotiated rates.
What is a Swile exclusive rate?
Swile exclusive rates are the rates available in Swile Travel. We have negotiated special deals with our partners, covering a wide range of hotels and car hire companies.
For hotels, we offer our own agreements with certain partner chains (3 hotel chains already integrated (B&B Hotels, Résidhome, Adagio) representing over 400 hotels). These offers can be identified by the “Swile exclusive rate” badge, when they represent the best price available in their category (available on the platform without needing approval from your account administrator).
For car hire, we offer our rates with several providers such as Hertz, Sixt, Enterprise and Avis. These offers can be identified by the “Swile exclusive rate” badge, when they represent the best price available in their category. These rates may include added benefits, such as a reduced excess, more flexible cancellation policies, no deposit required, and so on.
What is a company-negotiated rate?
Negotiated rates are rates obtained directly by your company from a hotel, hotel chain or car hire provider. This could be, for example, a corporate contract, a special rate code or an existing commercial agreement.
To make these available in Swile Travel, your company administrator needs to request activation from Swile and provide the necessary information. Once set up, these rates are automatically included in the search engine and can be highlighted in the results.
Key points to remember:
- they are specific to your company and are not available by default;
- activation requires a request from your administrator;
- they apply according to the terms set out in your company’s contract;
- they can apply to hotels, car hire, and other types of transport;
- they appear in the results when available for the search carried out.
Can you have both types of rates in Swile Travel?
Yes. A company can benefit from both the default Swile exclusive rates and its own negotiated rates. Swile Travel then compares the available offers and displays the rates that match the search criteria and applicable conditions.
Company-negotiated rates may be prioritised in the results when available. For hotels, a negotiated rate can also be marked as a company recommendation to help employees make their choice.
These offers can be identified by the “Swile exclusive rate” badge:
How do I request activation of negotiated rates?
