We recommend that you pay your fines directly to the local authorities: if the rental company handles the fine, they will add administrative fees on top.
📆 Can the fine arrive after your rental has ended?
It’s possible for a fine to reach the rental company several months after you’ve returned the vehicle. The company is entitled to charge the credit card you provided as a guarantee, and will also add administrative fees. So, if a fine arrives after your rental, please pay it according to the rental company’s instructions—we won’t be able to intervene or reimburse you.
