How do I resend invitation emails to my beneficiaries (Gifts and Benefits)?

This article is for administrators of the Swile Gifts and Benefits programme. By default, your recipients receive an invitation email allowing them to activate their Swile account (if they don’t already have one), as well as their benefit. If a recipient hasn’t received this email or hasn’t acted on it yet, you can resend them an invitation to activate their account, or a reminder to activate their benefit.

How do I resend invitations for my recipients to activate their Swile account?

You can resend the invitation for your recipients to activate their Swile account in two ways: individually or in bulk.

Resend an invitation individually

  1. In the Recipients tab, search for the name of the relevant employee.
  2. Click on the resend invitation icon at the end of the recipient’s row.

The recipient will then receive the invitation email again to activate their Swile account.

Resend invitations in bulk to recipients who haven’t activated their account

Resend Invitations button in the Employees tab

In the Employees tab, click on Resend Invitations. All recipients whose accounts are still pending activation will receive the invitation email again.

How do I remind my Gifts and Benefits recipients to activate their benefit?

Your Gifts and Benefits recipients also receive reminder emails to activate the benefit you’ve credited to their account. These reminders are sent automatically until the recipient activates their benefit.

💡 Good to know

If a benefit doesn’t appear on a recipient’s account, it means they haven’t activated it yet. As an administrator, you can force the reminder email to be sent again.

To manually resend the benefit activation reminder email:

  1. Step 1: Go to the Gifts and Benefits menu.
  2. Step 2: Click on the Orders tab.
  3. Step 3: Click on the relevant order.
  4. Step 4: Click on the Recipients List sub-tab.
  5. Step 5: A banner will let you know if there are recipients waiting to activate. Click on the Send reminder email button.

If you don’t have this option yet, it means your company hasn’t switched to the new benefit activation process. The recipient doesn’t need to do this step.
