How to change the bank account details or the authorised signatory for your meal voucher direct debit mandate

This article is for administrators who manage Swile meal voucher orders and want to update their bank details (RIB, IBAN) or the signatory of the SEPA direct debit mandate.

⚠️ Essential prerequisite

For security reasons, you can only change the direct debit mandate for Swile meal vouchers after paying for an order by bank transfer from the new account. Once we receive this transfer, the option to update your mandate will be unlocked in your admin area.

How do I update the bank details for my Swile meal voucher direct debit mandate?

To update the bank details (RIB / IBAN) for your Swile meal voucher direct debit mandate, follow the steps below from your admin area.

  1. Step 1 — Order by bank transfer: When you next order Swile meal vouchers, choose bank transfer as the payment method and make the transfer from your new bank account.
  2. Step 2 — Access settings: Once the funds have been received, log in to your Swile admin area and go to the Settings tab.
  3. Step 3 — Change the mandate: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Change direct debit mandate.
  4. Step 4 — Enter new bank details: Enter the new IBAN and the name of the signatory, then click Confirm.
  5. Step 5 — Send the signed mandate: Save the generated SEPA mandate and email the signed copy to entreprise@swile.co.

💡 Legal validity of the signature

By clicking Confirm, you electronically sign the SEPA mandate form. This signature authorises Swile to send instructions to your bank to debit the specified account from your next meal voucher order onwards.

How do I change the signatory of my Swile meal voucher SEPA mandate?

The process for changing the signatory of the SEPA mandate is the same as for updating your bank details, whether or not you are keeping the same bank account.

So you need to:

  • pay for a Swile meal voucher order by bank transfer first,
  • then update the direct debit mandate in Settings > Change direct debit mandate,
  • enter the name of the new signatory (and keep or update the IBAN as needed),
  • send the signed SEPA mandate to entreprise@swile.co.
