This article explains how to change your Swile password, whether you’re logged in to your account or not.

🔒 Password security requirements

For your new password to be accepted and secure, it must:

  • Be different from your previous passwords
  • Contain at least 8 characters (including 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number and 1 special character)
  • Be unique to Swile

🔐 Can’t access your Swile account?

Make sure you’ve activated your account first. To find out more: How do I activate my account and use my card?

🖥️ From a computer
  1. Go to swile.co
  2. Click on Log in
  3. Click on Forgot password?
  4. Enter the email address linked to your Swile account
  5. You’ll receive an email titled Reset your password in your inbox
  6. Click on Reset password
  7. Enter your new Swile password
📱 From the app
  1. Open your Swile app
  2. Tap Log in
  3. Tap Forgot password?
  4. Enter the email address linked to your Swile account
  5. You’ll receive an email titled Reset your password in your inbox
  6. Tap Reset password
  7. Enter your new Swile password

🔓 Can you access your Swile account?

🖥️ From a computer
  1. Log in to your user area at swile.co
  2. Click on your initials or your first name at the top right
  3. Click on Profile and security
  4. Click on Change my password
  5. Enter your current password
  6. Enter your new password twice
  7. Click on Change password
📱 From the app
  1. Tap Menu (the 4 small squares)
  2. Tap Profile and security
  3. Tap Change my password
  4. Enter your current password
  5. Enter your new password twice
  6. Tap Change password

💡 Gmail address: make sure you enter it exactly

On Google platforms (Gmail), email addresses are often treated as case-insensitive and ignore dots (.). However, for your Swile account, you must enter the exact email address registered to your account.
