The first step is to activate your Swile account. We'll explain how to do this in this article đ
If your employer has registered an email address on your account, youâll have received an email from hello@info.swile.co âïž Click on the link provided in the email.
- Check that your first and last name are correct
- Set a secure password thatâs unique to Swile
- Enter your phone number and type in the code you receive by SMS
If you havenât received your activation email, check your spam folder. If you still canât find it, follow the steps below đ
- Go to the following page: https://join.swile.co/welcome/email
- Enter the email address your employer used to create your account (this could be a personal or work email â ask your administrator if youâre not sure)
- Click Resend. Once youâve entered the correct address, youâll receive the activation email and can follow the steps above. If you still donât receive the email, contact our customer service team.
If your employer hasnât registered an email address on your account, youâll receive a letter at the postal address provided by your employer with your username and activation password.
- Go to join.swile.co/welcome/mail
- Enter your username and then your activation password
- Check that your first and last name are correct
- Set a secure password thatâs unique to Swile
- Enter your phone number and type in the code you receive by SMS
You can also activate your account using your Swile card (if thereâs a username on the back of the card). In this case, simply scan the QR code on your cardâs packaging and follow the instructions to activate your account.

đł Ordering and using your Swile card
There are two ways your card can be ordered:
- Either your account administrator has ordered it for you. You can check if an order is in progress on your Swile account in the My cards menu.
- Or you can order your card yourself directly from your Swile account. See our help page: How do I order and use my Swile card?

If you want to use your card virtually, youâll need to add it to Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet so you can pay with your phone.
- To pay in person: make your first payment by inserting your card and entering your PIN. If you forget it, you can find your PIN in your app.
- To pay with your phone: Youâll need to add your card to Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet if you havenât already!
- To pay online: Choose to pay by card and enter your card number, expiry date and CVC (the 3-digit code). These details are visible in your app (under My cards) and are the same as those on your physical card if you have one. Make sure youâve enabled online payments first in the My cards menu.
