Why Has the Card Payment Relay Been Deactivated?

Once your card relay (known as "Card Relay") is activated, this option may be deactivated for several reasons:

❌️ Your bank card has expired
  • If your bank card has expired, you'll need to update it in your profile:
    • Go to your profile

    • Click on My personal cards & IBAN,

    • Click on Add a bank card:

  • Next, reactivate the Card Relay option:
    • Click on Cards,
    • Click on Card Relay and select the bank card you’ve just added:

💳 You’ve reached your bank limit
  • In 99% of cases, the option is deactivated because the authorisation amount is too high. Authorisations are renewed every 7 days. So, if you set the option to €250, you’ll end up with €1,000 “used” on your bank limit over a month. We recommend changing the Card Relay amount in the Cards > Card Relay menu. You can also contact your bank advisor for more information.

  • We suggest setting a Card Relay of around twenty euros as this is the average amount used by our users.

💡 Good to know

  • The amount you select will be subject to a bank authorisation.
  • Bank card payments under €0.50 are not allowed.
  • You can’t set up this option on a Sunday or a bank holiday.
