This article explains what to do if you’ve received multiple cards.
💡 If you’re an administrator, the same process applies. Please pass this information on to your beneficiaries.
1. Log in to your account
To identify your active card, you’ll need to check your personal account area.
If your account is already active: Log in with your usual details.
If you haven’t activated your account yet: Activate it 🚀. If you need help, check out our article: How do I activate my account and use my card?
2. Go to the "Cards" tab
Once you’re logged in on the app or website:
Go to the "Cards" menu (depending on your interface: "Menu > Cards").
Compare the last 4 digits of the card number shown on your screen with those on your physical cards.
If you find the last 4 digits of your physical card on your Swile account, that’s the right card to keep 😊 If you have several cards on your account that match your physical cards, you can keep them all.
To check if you have multiple cards on your account, go to the "Cards" menu and see if you can scroll through different cards (see the image above).
3. What should I do with the other card?
Once you’ve identified the correct card, the old one (or any that don’t appear in your app) is no longer needed.
You can destroy it, but we recommend recycling it. To find out how, check our FAQ on recycling your cards.
