Whether you have a virtual card only or a physical card, you can add it to your phone to pay with Apple Pay, Google Wallet or Samsung Pay 🚀

📱 How do I add my card to Apple Pay, Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet?

  • Open your Swile app
  • Go to the Cards menu (or Menu > Cards).
  • Select the card you want to add to your phone.
  • Tap Add to Wallet app (for Apple) / Add to Google Wallet / Add to Samsung Wallet. The button will change depending on your phone.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

đź’¸ How do I pay in a shop with my phone?

Once you’ve added your Swile card to your phone, here’s how to pay in a shop.

🙌 With Apple Pay
  • Double-press the right side button
  • When your Swile card appears, hold your phone up to your face to authenticate with Face ID
  • Hold your phone near the payment terminal. That’s it! 🙌

  • Unlock your phone.
  • Hold the back of your phone against the terminal for a few seconds.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

Each transaction generates a unique code and uses a number specific to your device. Neither your device nor Apple’s servers store your card number. It’s not shared with the merchant when you pay.

🍀 Environmental impact

The virtual card reduces environmental impact by 38% compared to the physical card (including a 17% reduction in COâ‚‚ emissions), thanks to no manufacturing or transport.
To assess the environmental impact of our three payment solutions (paper vouchers, physical card and virtual card), we carried out a comparative Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Conducted by BearingPoint, this study was independently reviewed by Bureau Veritas in 2024.
