When you pay with your Swile card, if you have several gift voucher or Holiday Benefits accounts, you might wonder which one will be charged 🧐 We'll explain everything in this article.
If you have a gift voucher or Holiday Benefits account expiring this month, we will charge this one first (⚠️ as long as the retailer is eligible, see: How do I use my Swile gift vouchers?; Where and how can I spend my Holiday Benefits?).
We apply two rules:
- The account expiring this month always takes priority.
- We charge your vouchers in the following order:
- Culture
- Back to School
- Birth
- Children's Christmas
- Holiday Benefits
- Employee Christmas / Wedding or Civil Partnership / Father's Day or Mother's Day / St Catherine's or St Nicholas' Day / Retirement
If you want to pay at a retailer that accepts several types of benefits, the order in which your accounts are charged will always be as follows, regardless of expiry date:
- Mobility
- Gift vouchers & holiday benefits
- Meal vouchers
