You feel like your Swile card isn’t working anymore and you’re wondering what to do next. Here are a few things you can try, depending on the issue 👇
🔎 My transaction was declined
We recommend logging in to your Swile account to check the details of the transaction.
👉 The reason for the decline will always be shown there (insufficient balance, limit reached, ineligible merchant, etc.). This will help you quickly identify why the payment was refused.
💳 My card isn’t recognised when I insert it into the terminal
If your card isn’t recognised when you insert it:
➡️ Please try the transaction again and let the cashier know you’re paying by bank card (CB).
🔐 The terminal says my PIN is incorrect
If you see a message saying your PIN is incorrect:
👉 Please check your PIN directly from your Swile account. Make sure you’re using the right code before trying again.
📱My payment isn’t working on my phone
If you’re trying to pay with your phone (Apple Pay / Google Pay) and it’s not working, please try the following:
- Remove your Swile card from your phone
- Switch your phone off completely
- Turn it back on
- Add your Swile card again
- Then try making the payment again
