🧐 What is the personal account for?
This is a payment account opened in your name and accessible on Swile. You can use it for:
Paying for purchases that go over the daily limit allowed with meal vouchers. For example, if your total bill is €27, you can make a single Swile payment: €25 will be taken from your meal voucher account, and €2 from your personal account.
Paying for your travel pass if you have a card to use your home-to-work travel benefits.
👀 How do you access your personal account?
Log in to your account.
At the top of the screen, click on Accounts
Click on the Personal account tab on the left
Activate your personal account if you haven't already. To do this, tap Menu then Swile Personal Account. Accept the account agreement and tap Activate.
Then, find your personal account in the Accounts tab.
💰 How do you top up your personal account with your bank card?
Click on Personal account
Click on Top up
Select the amount you want to add to your personal account
Choose your payment method
Enter the code you receive by SMS to secure the transaction and confirm!
💸 How do you spend or withdraw money from your personal account?
📌 Please note, you must have completed profile verification first.
Go to your Personal account
Click on Transfer then Bank transfer
Enter the amount to transfer.
To avoid mistakes, an automatic message will let you know if the account holder's name on the IBAN in Swile is different from the one on your bank account. This is just for your information – you can still continue if you're sure the details are correct.
📆 The money will be transferred to your bank account within 48 to 72 working hours.
In some rare cases, the Bank transfer option might not appear. If this happens, please contact our customer service and we'll make sure your funds are transferred.
If you go over your meal voucher balance (this option doesn't apply to gift vouchers or holiday benefits) or want to pay at a place that doesn't accept them, your personal account will be used instead!
To do this, you need to activate the Fallback to Personal Account option as follows:
Click on Personal account
Then click on Fallback to Personal Account
Finally, click on Activate
