Any food product, whether or not it can be eaten straight away, can be paid for with your meal vouchers. In this article, you'll find all the terms and conditions for using them. Click on the section you want to find out more 👇
You can use your Swile card at any establishment that accepts meal vouchers (those approved by the National Commission for Meal Vouchers), including:
- Restaurants: for dining in, delivery, or Click & Collect
- Staff canteens
- Connected canteens: Frichti, Seazon, Foodcheri, Refectory, etc.
- Delivery platforms such as Uber Eats and Deliveroo
- Supermarkets
- Food shops: butchers, bakeries, fishmongers, etc.
💡 Exceptions to keep in mind:
- You cannot top up your staff canteen account or badge with your meal vouchers.
- You can't withdraw cash with your Swile card, it's not designed for that. 😉
Meal vouchers can be used Monday to Saturday (excluding Sundays and public holidays) unless your employer decides otherwise. If the vouchers are issued in digital form, your employer will inform the affected employees of this decision by any means before the vouchers are issued. (⚖️ Art. R.3262-8 of the Labour Code)
You can pay up to €25/day with meal vouchers. Unlike paper vouchers, there’s no minimum spend (except those set by the retailer) and you pay the exact amount, down to the last cent! 🎉
There’s no expiry date with Swile! 💸 Meal vouchers are automatically carried over from year to year, as long as your employer activates the automatic annual renewal in their Swile admin area. Your meal vouchers will be added to your next top-ups! To find out more: What happens to my meal vouchers at the end of the year?
