Like any user of the platform, an administrator can book trips, view their bookings, and edit their traveller profile information. In addition to this, they have advanced rights that apply to all employees in their organisation.

👀 What are an administrator's rights?
  • Invite colleagues to the platform or create an account for them
  • Edit a user's traveller information or delete a user
  • Edit a colleague's travel policy
  • Edit a colleague's approvers
  • Add, edit or delete a billing entity
  • Add, edit or delete a payment method
  • View and confirm all travel bookings
  • Access invoices
  • Access booking exports
  • Add or remove the Administrator role for a user (see below)
  • Set up analytical fields

💡 An administrator also has access to the Travel area as a user.

👩‍💻 How do I add or remove administrator rights?

💡 Requirements for setting an administrator

  • You must be an administrator on Swile Travel yourself to assign or remove the administrator role for colleagues in your organisation.
  • The person concerned must already be registered as a user (role Member) on Swile Travel. Once made an administrator, they will have access to both the user area and the admin area from their account.

From the Colleagues tab, select the person you want to give the administrator role to 👇

  • Go to the Business travel tab, then in Traveller settings, click Edit
  • All you need to do is select Admin in the Role section, and then Save
  • To remove administrator rights, simply select the Member role again
  • An organisation must always have at least one administrator. To remove an administrator, you will need to add a second one before removing the first.

💡 Good to know

The travel policy applies to administrators by default, however their bookings do not require approval.
