This article is for Swile Travel administrators. Like any user of the platform, a Swile Travel approver can book trips, view their bookings and update their traveller profile information. In addition, they have advanced rights that apply to all employees for whom they are an approver.

  • To become an approver, the person must first be created as a user.
  • The approver role can be added to or removed from any user in your company.
  • An employee can have multiple approvers.
👀 What rights does an approver have on Swile Travel?

A Swile Travel approver has the following rights:

  • Approve or reject booking requests according to their colleagues' travel policy. For each request, the approver receives an email inviting them to approve the booking.
  • View the bookings of the employees they approve, in the Colleagues' trips section.
  • Grant or remove the approver role from another user.
🧭 How do I access approver management on Swile Travel?

As a Swile Travel administrator, log in to your admin area, then:

  • Go to the Colleagues tab.
  • To display all options, click on Columns and tick all the Travel boxes.
➕ How do I add an approver to my colleagues on Swile Travel?

To assign the approver role to a colleague on Swile Travel, follow these steps.

  1. Step 1: Click on Colleagues.
  2. Step 2: Find the colleague you want to assign an approver to, then click on their name.
  3. Step 3: Click on the Business travel tab.
  4. Step 4: In the Traveller settings section, click Edit.
  5. Step 5: In the Approvers section, open the dropdown menu, type the name of the colleague you want, click on it, then confirm.

👥 How do I add an approver to several colleagues at once?

To assign the same approver to several Swile Travel colleagues at once, first tick the relevant colleagues in the list.

  1. Step 1: In Colleagues, tick the names you want.
  2. Step 2: At the bottom of the page, click Bulk edit, then Edit approvers.
  3. Step 3: Select the names of the approvers.
  4. Step 4: Confirm.

To remove the approver role from a colleague on Swile Travel, follow these steps.

  1. Step 1: Click on the colleague's name.
  2. Step 2: Click the cross next to the name of the approver you want to remove.
