This article is for administrators of the Swile Gifts and Benefits programme. By default, your recipients receive an invitation email allowing them to activate their account (if they don’t already have one), as well as their benefit. If a recipient hasn’t received this email or hasn’t acted on it yet, you can resend them an invitation to activate their account, or a reminder to activate their benefit.
How do I resend invitations for my Gifts and Benefits recipients to activate their account?
You can track all your recipients invited to the Swile Gifts and Benefits programme, as well as their activation status. For more information, see the article How to check if an employee has activated their Swile account.
You can resend the invitation for your Gifts and Benefits recipients to activate their account in two ways: individually or in bulk.
Resend an invitation individually
- In the Recipients tab, search for the relevant Gifts and Benefits recipient by name.
- Click the resend invitation icon at the end of the recipient’s row.
The recipient will then receive the invitation email again to activate their Gifts and Benefits account.
Resend invitations in bulk to recipients who haven’t activated their account
In the Employees tab, click Resend Invitations. All Gifts and Benefits recipients whose account is still pending activation will receive the invitation email again.

How do I remind my Gifts and Benefits recipients to activate their benefit?
Your Gifts and Benefits recipients also receive reminder emails to activate the benefit you’ve credited to their account. These reminders are sent automatically until the recipient activates their benefit.
💡 Good to know
If a benefit doesn’t appear on a Gifts and Benefits recipient’s account, it means they haven’t activated it yet. As an administrator, you can force the reminder email to be sent again.
To manually resend the benefit activation reminder email:
- Step 1: Go to the Gifts and Benefits menu.
- Step 2: Click on the Orders tab.
- Step 3: Click on the relevant order.
- Step 4: Click on the Recipients List sub-tab.
- Step 5: A banner will let you know if there are recipients waiting to activate. Click the Send reminder email button.
If you don’t see this option yet, it means your company hasn’t switched to the new benefit activation process. The recipient doesn’t need to do this step.
