As an administrator, you’ve received an email letting you know that your colleagues will be invited to order a new generation Swile card. Here’s what you need to know! 🤩
We’re switching technical providers to move to the latest generation of Swile cards. That’s why we’re inviting all employees with old Swile cards to order a new one.
🤔 Which employees are affected?
This email concerns all your colleagues who:
- have a Swile card with a card number starting with 5345 78
- do not have Swile mobility benefits
- do not have a personal account with a positive balance
👀 What does this mean for administrators and employees?
🙌 As an administrator, you don’t need to do anything.
Your colleagues will be contacted by email. They have 60 days from the first email to order their new card. We’ll contact them several times during these 60 days to remind them to order their new card.
Cards can be ordered directly from their Swile account. Your colleagues can choose the colour of their card, their PIN, and whether they want a virtual card only or to convert it to a physical card if they prefer. If they order a physical card, it will be delivered straight to their home. You can share this help page with them: How do I order and use my Swile card?
💸 These new cards are free of charge.
📆 What happens if some of your colleagues haven’t ordered their new card within 60 days?
Their Swile card starting with 5345 78 will be deactivated. The affected colleagues will receive an email to let them know.
They can still order their new card from their account in the Cards tab by clicking the + at the top right of their screen.
Creating a virtual card only takes a few seconds and it can be used instantly on their phone. So your colleagues can continue to enjoy their Swile benefits. You can share this help page with them: How do I pay with my phone?
