It’s not possible to add extra nights to an existing booking. You’ll need to make a new booking for the additional dates. When booking, you can ask the hotel in advance to keep the same room as your original booking. Fill in the Other requests for the hotel field in the Special requests section.

If you can’t find the same hotel when searching, it means it’s fully booked. We recommend cancelling your booking if it’s refundable and making a new one for the whole duration of your stay.
Contact us and provide the following details:
- Your booking reference
- Name of the traveller to be replaced
- Name of the new traveller (they must have a Swile Travel profile)

The hotel is not obliged to accept your request. If the original booking is non-refundable, we won’t be able to issue a refund if the traveller can no longer go and the hotel refuses your request.
- If your booking is refundable: cancel the booking and make a new one for the dates you want
- If your booking is non-refundable: we can try to negotiate with the hotel, but we can’t guarantee their decision. Contact us via your account or through our contact form and provide your booking reference and the new dates.

If your booking hasn’t started yet:
- Is it refundable? Cancel the booking and make a new one for the dates you want.
- Is it non-refundable? The hotel may be able to shorten your stay, but there’s no guarantee you’ll get a refund for the unused night. We can try to negotiate with the hotel, but we can’t guarantee their decision.

If your booking has started and you want to leave the hotel early:
- Let reception know you’re leaving early.
- Contact us via your account or through our contact form and provide your booking reference. We can try to negotiate with the hotel, but we can’t guarantee their decision.
- If your booking has started and you’ve already left the hotel early: Contact us via your account or through our contact form and provide your booking reference. We can try to negotiate with the hotel, but we can’t guarantee their decision.
