Your Swile card is reusable at your next company, as long as they also use Swile! All you need to do is let your new employer know that you already have a Swile card before they create an account for you.
💸 What happens to your balance?
When you leave your company, they have two options:
- They can let you use your card until your meal voucher balance runs out.
- Or they can remove the remaining meal vouchers and refund the employee contribution to your bank account as part of your final payslip.
👉 We recommend contacting your employer as soon as possible to find out what procedure your company follows!
You can use your gift, culture and Holiday Benefits vouchers until they expire. Keep your card safe for your next company!
Once your employer removes you from their list of beneficiaries, any ongoing reimbursement requests will be cancelled and your remaining balance will be returned to your company 💰 If needed, please get in touch with the person responsible for your benefits. See our dedicated help page: What happens to my mobility benefits if I leave my company?
🧐 What information should you give your new company if they use Swile?
If your new employer uses Swile, you’ll need to confirm the name, surname and email address registered on your Swile account, as well as your date of birth and the 9 or 10 digit ID number of your card (💡 note, not the card number!). This way, you can keep your account and your card. Your new company will top up this same account.
Keep or recycle
We therefore recommend keeping your Swile card. However, if you’re sure you won’t need it in the future, you can recycle it!
