My card is about to expire, what happens next?

An expiry date is shown on every Swile card. Before your card expires, you’ll receive email reminders so you can order a new card for free from your account 🚀

💌 You’ll get an email (and a notification on your app) on the first day of the month your card expires, and a follow-up 15 days later if needed.

If you can’t find our emails or don’t have an email address linked to your Swile account, you can order a new card directly from your account (click on the relevant card in the Cards menu, then click Order a new one).

You’ll have two options:

  • First, you’ll be able to choose your card’s colour and order a virtual card. You can add your card to your phone and pay with it. To find out more, see: How do I pay with my phone?

  • Then, if you wish, you can order a physical card as well. You’ll set your own PIN and delivery address. It will be delivered within 5 to 8 working days 🚀

📌 Important

  • 💸 There are no fees for this renewal – your new card is free.
  • 💌 If you have another active card, you won’t receive our communication about the card that’s about to expire.
  • 🙌  No action is needed from your employer. 

♻️ Give your old Swile card a new life: Recycle it!
